Kumaranasan’s Veenapoovu is reminder to human beings who prefer worldly pleasures and forget the laws of nature.
This is the fifth stanza of Veenapoovu by Kumaranasan. Kumaranasan was a dedicated disciple of Sri Narayana Guru and inspiration of his Guru in evident in his poems. The poem reminds human beings that one day we all will have to become old and eventually perish, so being young is just part of life. The poet reminds us to be humble and humane.
